ENTRY PROCESS
There are 300 total entries available.
Entries open at 10:00am Friday 28th June, 2024 AEST and close at 11:59pm Wednesday 16th July, 2025 AEST – unless sold out earlier.
Please note that a waitlist will be put in place if entries sell out.
REFUND POLICY
Refunds (full refund minus $30 admin fee) will only be available if a waitlist is in place and a runner takes up your available position.
This policy also applies to rollovers.
Transfers can be actioned by the initial registrant and accepted by the new runner up until entries close at no cost if admin not involved. A $30 admin fee will apply if admin needs to action. The transfer must be done and accepted by the new runner before entries close or transfer cannot be actioned.
Should an entrant wish to cancel their entry, they will be subject to the same terms as per our refund policy above.
All refunds and rollover requests must be emailed to registrations@ultraseries.com.au Withdrawal notifications received via any other means will not be processed.

AID STATIONS
An Aid Station is provided at the start line, and runners will be able to access this every lap.
The aid station will provide the following:
- Water
- Lollies
- Coke
- VFuel
- Savoury snacks
- Soups or similar in the evenings
Runners are also able to set-up their own table with their own supplies

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
RUNNERS WILL NOT BE REQUIRED TO CARRY ANY MANDATORY EQUIPMENT AS THERE IS AN AID STATION EVERY 6.7KMS.
Headlamps will be required at night time however.
If the weather conditions are such that extremes in sun glare or cold may be experienced, it is recommended the following may be ready to be utilised by the runner:

- hat
- suncream
- sunglasses
- pocket warmers
- ski gloves or similar
- rain jacket
- water
- thermals
- waterproof pants
PACERS
NO PACERS ALLOWED
Pacers are NOT allowed for any part of Wild Dog.
DROPPING OUT
Runners can withdraw from Wild Dog only at the start marquee. It is imperative that withdrawing runners notify the Race Director or appropriate marshal IN PERSON of their withdrawal so that no unnecessary concern is caused, or searches are conducted.
CUT OFFS
Each runner must be in the starting Corral on the hour every hour to continue the next lap.
QUALIFICATION
As the event is run on a 6.71km loop course, there are no qualification requirements for Wild Dog Backyard Ultra. Entrants are however expected to be in good health and trained sufficiently.
